PAWNotes Oct. 29, 2002 Good News All Around: Many thanks to LUIS ARTEAGA for sending an update on college roommate, TODD COLQUITT. Verizon has named Todd as its chief public policy and external affairs executive for Ohio. He will be the lead advocate and negotiator in regulatory, legislative and industry forums for the company in Ohio. Before joining Verizon, Colquitt was director of legal and regulatory affairs at the United States Telephone Association in Washington, D. C and earned a master¹s in public policy from Georgetown University. Luis lives in Richmond, CA and is the Associate Director for Latino Issues Forum, a public policy and advocacy institute in San Francisco. A little birdie from the class of ’87 wrote in the belated and much awaited news of JON PICOULT’s marriage to Rebecca in July of 2000. They reside in Simsbury, CT where Jon is the Chief Applications Officer at MassMutual. On July 22, 2002, they had their first son, Joshua (pictured in this column).
