PAWNotes Nov. 12, 2002 Fellows: September was a big month for Dr. STEVEN ISAKOFF who began his fellowship in oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and welcomed his second child Benjamin, into the world. Dr. JOHN STROUSE moved to Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University as part of his fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Two in a Row: Dr. DOKSU MOON reports that he and wife, Eunice (Pomona College’91) welcomed Colin Sungbin, their second baby boy, on August 13, 2002. SCOTT CLAWSON and wife, Heather, also had a second boy, Preston Scott, in April 2002. Congratulations! Around the Horn: BRYAN MCCANN and wife, Mary Hunter, recently moved from Fayetteville, AR to Washington, DC where he is Asst. Prof. of Latin American History at Georgetown. His specialty is Brazil, so he was happy to find a Brazilian café in his new neighborhood! JANE (SHEPHERD) DICK was recognized for five years of service to Kappa Alpha Theta at the 2002 Grand Convention. MARY FOULK made the big move to an outer borough of NY: Astoria, Queens. Says she loves “suburbia” and bought a hot red, hot rod to drive around upstate. Mary continues to work as an Instructional Designer/Web Producer for ACTV. NANCY BARNES is performing in a comedy, “Aspirin and Elephants” with Jack Klugman in Kansas City. She is working on publishing a book and selling her first screenplay. SARAH (CAHILL) WAITE lives in Littleton, CO and started a new job as a business broker. She’s been to Nepal twice and up to Everest base camp. Next she’ll climb Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest peak outside of the Himalayas! Last Words: SCOTT DIAMOND writes “to all who may care, my wife, Anne, daughter Hannah 95) and I are alive and well in Pasadena, CA”. We all care so keep the news coming!
