PAWNotes Dec 12, 2002 Since the holidays have come and gone and you will be reading this in 2003, let’s kick it off with as much information as possible! And what could be better than a list of new babies! PHIL PINE and wife, Debbie (Trinity ’92) are pleased to announce the birth of first child, Nicholas Cogan. Apparently, the tyke “shares his father’s dashing good looks and his mother’s temperament.” Hmmm. JOE MACAIONE and his wife still live in London and welcomed second child, Luke, in May 2002. Also in London, PAUL SWIGART, wife, Patty, and daughter, Paulina, are happy to report the birth of baby boy, David, on March 22, 2002. Paul sees DAVE and Leslie Moscow McGRANAHAN and their son, Jack, quite often. CAROLYN, DAVID and daughter, Elizabeth, BLOOM added a little boy to their family this year as well: Nathaniel Corvin, born March 24, 2002. DAVE THOMAS and wife, Lorraine, are the happy parents of child # 1, a son, Malakai David, born September 19, 2002. A little birdie told me that ANN BOULIS gave birth to a baby girl, Sophia, on August 24, 2002. From Rockville, MD, Dr. ERIC LIN and wife, Aryani, celebrated the birth of daughter, Emily, on August 15, 2002. CHARLIE HURT and wife, Bobbi (University of Puget Sound ’93) announce the birth of their first child, Layton Blair, on August 9, 2002. Murphy, the family dog, seems quite taken with the new bundle of joy. Congratulations to you all! And from the grad school camp: ALINA BLAIR resides in LA and just began a Masters in Public Policy at USC. Dr. CAROLYN OATES writes from Chapel Hill that she is in her fourth (and last!) year of residency in Psychiatry at Duke Medical Center. Happy New Year and keep the news coming!
