PAWNotes Jan 7, 2003
Happy Valentine’s Day! Let’s start off with a story of true love. On October 19, 2002, KRISTIN DEMPSEY married kindergarten classmate, Tom O’Donnell, in Scranton, PA. Tiger bridesmaids included JUSTINE KRELL and ERIN NICHOLSON. Kristin is VP of her family’s business, Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply and Tom (West Point ’91) is a Special Agent with the FBI.
After spending the last 11 years in San Francisco, PAM FRANKLIN finally left her heart behind and traveled to Washington, DC. Last May she finished her doctorate in Energy & Resources at UC Berkely and is now on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Science Fellow.
STACY RUKEYSER is now a staff writer on the CBS, Jerry Bruckheimer series, “Without A Trace” (Thursday nights at 10pm!) She loves her job and says it’s a dream come true. GAIL BOROD GIACOBBE lives in Seattle with her husband, Antonio, where she is a Lead Program Manager at Microsoft. They do a lot of skiing with Mary Parks ’90 and take in music with Marc Gavin ’89. JEHAN VELJI started a new job with The Bridgespan Group, a management consulting firm for non-profits and foundations. She really enjoys it and just moved to the Berkeley area so one-year old son, Zain, can have more space to crawl around.
And now for something completely different: JEFFREY SENSABAUGH competed in the 2002 Red Bull Flugtag using his circus skills to pitch a chef out of a frying pan and into the San Francisco Bay. (I kid you not.) 15,000 spectators cheered wildly and his team won the “most creative” award.
