Starting with New Class Babies: CHARLES and Siobhan (Wellesley ’90) ABELL welcomed William James to the world on Nov. 20, 2002. Charles is an estate planning lawyer in Chevy Chase, MD and new mom is taking time off from Capitol Hill. From NY, NY, BROOKE EFFROM and husband, Ross Weiner, are delighted to announce the birth of their first child, Alden Reid, on Feb. 25, 2003. Last May (2002), LAURA SOUTH SASSI and MERRIE GAVRIN enjoyed a mini-reunion with their sons, both of whom were born months early. William Clayton Sassi was born Aug. 16, 2000 weighing 1 pound, 9 oz. While Elijah Gavrin Baldwin checked in on June 5, 2001 at a whopping 2 pounds, 15 oz. Both are now active happy toddlers! DAVE and Loraine THOMAS sent adorable photos of Santa-hat-wearing new son, Malakai David Abaro Thomas who joined their family on Sep.19, 2002. He probably won’t need the fur lined ensemble when the family moves to California this year. RODD and Mary LANGENHAGEN were introduced to their first baby, Cameron Lee Langenhagen, in the wee hours of April 10, 2003. He took a little coaxing to come out but everyone is happy and healthy in Massachusetts. Speaking of Overdue: STEWART McDOWELL finally sent in a photo of her October 1999! wedding to Phil Hardy. There were nearly 30 tigers of all ages squeezed into the frame – here are the 91ers: SANDY & JENN CRYSTAL, MARY FOULK, CHARLOTTE SUMNER, NANCY COLLINS, MAYA HAEGLER, CARRIE FOX ELKINS, ELLEN BUSH, GREG FINCK, LESLIE WILLIAMS and SARAH WHITMIRE.
