PAW Notes for September 2003 MARGARET SPEED RICCI and husband Mike Ricci (CalTech'91) are happy to announce the birth of their son, Luke Speed Ricci, born on May 14 in Thousand Oaks, CA. He's the cutest little boy EVER, both parents agree! Despite their sleep deprivation mom keeps busy as a research scientist at the biotech company Amgen, and is a music director in her ‘spare’ time. New dad, Mike, is an engineer of all trades, with applications ranging from special effects engineering to high tech magnetic levitation. They’re planning on hauling Luke on many adventures, including skiing, backpacking, mountain biking, and most recently kite boarding. As for other fellow Tigers at our wedding, our maid of honor was ERICA LAZEROW and the organist was Margaret’s brother, Bill Speed '90. You never know who you might run into on the streets of Rio! DWAYNE GREEN and ADAM HENRY met up by chance for the first time since graduation on separate trips to Brazil. Also present in Ipanema were James Simmons '89 Trey Muldrow '92, and Sean Green' 96. Pictured below (l to r) are Jimmy, Dwayne, Trey and Adam. Trey, Jimmy and Adam were in Rio celebrating a friend's upcoming wedding, and Dwayne was traveling with his two brothers on vacation. Adam and Trey are both lawyers (both in New York) and Trey is with Akin & Gump. Jimmy is with Arrakis Capital Partners.
