PAW Notes Sept. 11, 2002 SCANDAL: Thanks to the strict instruction of the Princeton Chinese language program, WINSTON OU was mistaken for a spy from mainland China and refused entry into Taiwan not long ago. He was detained, interrogated and reluctantly released by authorities, and commends former professors Chou, Chao, Chang, and Ren on having done such a fine job! Winston is safely back in the math department of Indiana U. and still plays the cello. ACCOLADES: RACHEL ALLEN was awarded the 2002 Rome Prize in architectural design from the American Academy in Rome. Her favorite Princeton building is Whig Hall and she opened her own studio in Jan. 2002. Congratulations! NEWS, NEWS: JUSTINE KRELL works for Pfizer at NYHQ in midtown as a documentation associate—which is way too complex to explain here! She’s also a volunteer firefighter/EMT and lacrosse coach. LIANE KERSEY is moving from Alexandria, Va. to Boston to teach and coach at prep school, Buckingham, Browne & Nichols. And finally, ARTHUR and GRACE CHANG MATEOS sent this wonderful photo of their family at our 11th Reunion—still sporting the psychedelic shirts! They live in Arlington, MA with son, Art (5) and daughter, Katya (3).
